A native of North Idaho, I graduated from the University of Idaho in 2007 with a BA in International Studies and a BA in Foreign Language. In pursuit of career growth, I relocated to Washington, DC for nearly three years, where I completed internships in refugee resettlement and USAID contracting. I was then interested in going back to my roots in the Northwest, so I applied to the University of Washington in Seattle and began my MA of International Studies in 2011. I supplemented these studies with a Certificate in Global Health and have served as a program coordinator on several Global Health projects during my time at UW. As you will see as you navigate this portfolio, I focus on women's issues with an African regional specialty. This passion has led me on a number of exciting adventures and professional experiences, which I will share with you in more detail on subsequent pages. Thank you for visiting!
